Role Overview As a Social Media Manager at The Leaf, you will manage multiple brand accounts, create and schedule content, analyze performance, attend brand events for content creation, and lead real-time social media engagement across platforms. Key Responsibilities Trendspotting and Strategy Execution - Identify and adapt emerging trends, formats, and viral content to suit brand narratives - Ensure brand relevance and presence through creative use of trends and moments Content Planning and Scheduling - Manage monthly content calendars for multiple brands - Schedule and publish content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube - Ensure timely delivery and posting of all creatives and campaigns Performance Reporting and Recommendations - Share weekly and monthly platform-specific performance reports - Analyze metrics including reach, saves, shares, engagement, and follower growth - Recommend optimizations and new strategies based on insights Platform Optimization and Growth - Assess which platforms perform best per brand - Suggest content formats and platform-specific best practices - Customize approaches to maximize each brand's reach and performance Real-Time Coverage and On-Ground Execution - Attend brand events, activations, and shoots - Capture and post real-time content: Reels, Stories, Lives, behind-the-scenes - Act as the digital voice of the brand during live moments Content Creation and Video Production - Shoot and edit short-form video content such as testimonials, founder messages, product showcases, and more - Create engaging mobile-first content even with minimal resources - Collaborate with the creative team to develop high-impact content pieces Required Skills and Experience - 2-5 years of experience in managing brand social media (agency experience is a plus) - Strong grasp of all key social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube - Confident in real-time content creation and basic video shooting/editing - Proficient in tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later, or similar - Ability to multitask across brands while maintaining quality and consistency - Excellent communication and coordination skills Preferred (Bonus) Skills - Experience with Canva, InShot, CapCut, Adobe tools - Exposure to influencer or UGC campaigns - Familiarity with performance marketing metrics - Creative instincts with a keen eye for content aesthetics Why Work at The Leaf - Work on fast-growing, purpose-driven brands - Be part of a collaborative and energetic team - Gain hands-on experience at events, shoots, and activations - Freedom to create, experiment, and lead content strategies - Grow your career with responsibility and learning opportunities How to Apply Please send your resume, portfolio or social media handles you've managed, and a short note on one trend you think brands should act on right now to hr@theleaf.io and theleaf.io/careers
