Housekeeping Manager The Grand Hotels, Kanyakumari Company We redefine luxury hospitality with world-class stays, fine dining, and elegant venues. From grand banquet halls to open-air spaces, we create unforgettable events and celebrations. Role (Full-time, On-site) Lead all housekeeping operations across rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house, and venues. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and brand standards through SOPs and regular inspections. Hire, schedule, train, and mentor room attendants, supervisors, public-area staff, and laundry teams. Coordinate closely with Front Office for room priorities, rush rooms, and timely room release. Partner with Engineering for maintenance issues, preventive deep cleaning, and room condition upkeep. Oversee laundry and linen room; ensure par levels for linen, towels, and guest amenities. Manage inventory, vendors, and cost control for chemicals, consumables, and equipment. Handle guest feedback and recoveries; manage Lost & Found records accurately. Ensure health, safety, and compliance (PPE, chemical handling, fire & hygiene standards). Monitor KPIs (productivity, cost per occupied room, inspection scores) and submit daily/weekly reports. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping leadership (supervisor/assistant manager/manager level). Strong people management, training, and shift scheduling skills. Deep knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, hygiene standards, and safety compliance. Hands-on experience with inventory control, vendor management, and budgeting. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Diploma/Bachelor's in Hospitality or related field (preferred). Experience in luxury or upper-upscale hotels (a plus).
