This internship is specially curated for high school students currently in Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 , particularly those planning to pursue future studies in International Relations, Political Science, Global History, Media & Journalism, or related Humanities disciplines . This is not just an internship—it is a journey into the heart of Middle Eastern geopolitics , one of the most volatile and misunderstood regions of the world. 🧭 INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW : Over the span of two months, selected interns will delve into the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East , unpacking: The shifting alliances and rivalries between regional powers The historical and present-day role of Western nations in shaping the region’s future Conflict drivers such as sectarianism, colonial legacies, and resource politics The mechanics of conflict resolution, diplomacy, peacebuilding, and negotiation strategies Interns will be guided to go beyond conventional narratives , challenging simplistic binaries and developing an understanding rooted in contextual nuance and critical inquiry . 📚 WHAT WILL YOU DO? Interns will engage in a multifaceted academic experience including: Reading and analysis of curated texts , journal articles, and relevant academic excerpts Book reviews on essential Middle Eastern political literature Writing original op-eds on assigned or self-proposed topics, which will be published on the official LinkedIn page of The Geopolitical Vortex Collaborative discussions and brainstorming sessions around current events in the region Scriptwriting and content development for podcast episodes A chance to co-host or appear as a guest speaker in a segment of The Geopolitical Vortex podcast, where select interns will be invited to voice their research and insights 🎯 WHO SHOULD APPLY?
