Company Description The EQUAL Network is a curated, digital professional network aimed at advancing gender equality and health equity. We connect leaders from diverse sectors to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and build impactful partnerships worldwide. EQUAL was established to bridge gaps in professional networking, enabling researchers, advocates, and innovative projects to connect, share findings, and gain access to funding and collaborators. Women's health, gender diverse health, and health equity more broadly are in peril, and it will take a global movement to make lasting change. Role Description This is a remote role for a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and managing social media content and helping to enhance our online presence. Day-to-day tasks may include content creation, social media management, digital marketing, and engaging new followers to promote our mission and events. There is no funding currently for this role. As soon as there is funding, volunteers will be compensated on a 1 hour per week minimum at $25 USD per hour. Qualifications (Please apply even if you are not a perfect match! Passion is a plus.) No educational qualifications are necessary for this role, but we ask that you have familiarity with gender equality and health equity movements either by lived experience or personal research/interest. Organizational skills and attention to detail Communicate clearly with colleagues Ability to work independently and remotely Canva or other graphic design software skills Experience with LinkedIn, Instagram and Google Workspace suite Necessary materials: candidates must posses their own internet-accessible device for this role.
