You will be responsible for receiving, handling, and converting Meetings, Events, and Group inquiries. You will work closely with clients to plan events, present and sell suitable banquet/event options, and ensure the highest standard of service. This will involve contacting Meeting Planners through various channels, arranging and conducting hotel show rounds, and managing the complete administration and execution of all planned events. Your role will also include negotiating space, dates, and rates to meet booking goals, with a focus on shoulder and off-season business. You will assist in developing and soliciting banquet and event package plans aimed at conference business, as well as encouraging repeat business. Attending trade and travel shows to promote the hotel's event business will be an essential part of your responsibilities. In addition, you will actively manage business bookings, record denials, make network referrals, and make commercial decisions to maximize MICE income. This is a full-time position based in New Delhi, requiring a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in business development and a total of 2 years of work experience. Proficiency in English is preferred.
