To be successful in this role, you should have experience with beauty therapies and good knowledge of skin and body care products. Interview clients: Assess clients' beauty needs and perform skin analyses Make recommendations: Based on clients' needs, provide specific treatment recommendations Perform treatments: Provide a wide variety of treatments, such as facials, peels, skin rejuvenation treatments, waxing, massage, manicures, and pedicures Educate clients: Explain treatment procedures to clients and answer their questions about beauty products and care routines Provide advice: Encourage clients to buy salon products and offer advice on at-home care options Manage appointments: Schedule appointments and ensure used inventory is replaced Sterilize tools: Properly sterilize beauty tools and equipment after every use..
