Position: Accountancy Teacher – Cambridge A Level Location: The Aalam International School, Kalapatti, Coimbatore. Grades: 11 and 12 Role Overview We are looking for an Accountancy teacher to work with Cambridge A Level students. The role involves guiding students through core accounting concepts with clarity, relevance, and application, while supporting their academic growth and independent thinking. Key Responsibilities Teach Cambridge A Level Accountancy for Grades 11 and 12 Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge syllabus Help students understand concepts through real-life examples and problem-solving Prepare students for internal assessments and Cambridge examinations Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and exam practice papers Track student progress and provide regular feedback Support students in developing exam readiness, accuracy, and conceptual clarity Work collaboratively with the senior school team Communicate constructively with students, parents, and colleagues Required Qualifications and Experience Degree in Commerce, Accountancy, or a related field Familiarity with the Cambridge A Level Accountancy syllabus (teaching experience preferred) Clear understanding of accounting principles and exam requirements Ability to explain concepts in a simple and structured manner Skills and Attributes Calm, patient, and approachable with adolescents Strong subject knowledge with practical orientation Organized and responsible in academic planning and reporting Open to reflective practice and continuous improvement Aligned with a student-centred learning environment Preferred Prior experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE or A Level Experience working with senior secondary students Job Type: Part-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Expected hours: 6 per week Work Location: In person
