Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our PCB manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and improving the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency in PCB fabrication and assembly, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor day-to-day PCB production activities including etching, lamination, drilling, plating, solder masking, screen printing, and routing. Ensure that all operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and scrap. Optimize production processes to improve yield, cycle time, and throughput. Coordinate with design and quality teams to resolve issues related to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and ensure product meets customer specifications. Maintain production documentation including work instructions, process logs, and reports. Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth ramp-up to mass production. Implement lean manufacturing and 5S practices to maintain a clean and efficient work environment. Monitor and control inventory of raw materials and consumables in the production area. Train and guide operators and technicians on process and equipment handling. Qualifications and Skills: Required: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field. Strong understanding of PCB fabrication and/or assembly processes (single, double, multilayer PCBs). Knowledge of manufacturing tools, quality standards (ISO, IPC), and safety regulations. Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Basic knowledge of CAD tools and production planning software. Preferred: Experience with CAM350, AutoCAD, or Gerber file viewers. Familiarity with CNC drilling/routing machines, AOI, and solder mask exposure units. Exposure to statistical process control (SPC) Lean practices and root cause analysis (RCA). Show more Show less
