Key Responsibilities: * Conduct soil health assessments and field studies across project areas. * Design and implement soil sampling protocols, nutrient profiling, and lab analysis. * manage soil health labs and testing facilities. * Develop Soil Health Cards for farmers based on field data and lab results. * Collaborate with farmers, panchayats, and government bodies to promote soil conservation and sustainable land management. * Support in training programs, field demonstrations, and awareness-building sessions. * Contribute to research publications, reports, and soil monitoring frameworks. * Assist in designing community-led interventions in composting, microbial inoculants, and organic inputs. Requirements: * M.Sc. in Soil Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field. * 0–5 years of relevant experience (freshers with academic research or internships are welcome). * Experience in soil analysis, organic/natural farming practices, and regenerative agriculture is a plus. * Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam (written and spoken). * Passionate about working closely with rural communities and farmers. * Self-driven, adaptable, and a strong team player.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum, Kerala. The CSR Sourcing & Engagement Officer will play a key role in sourcing and managing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships, building strong relationships with corporate and community stakeholders, and strengthening Thanal’s mission on the ground. The role involves developing engagement strategies, monitoring and supporting CSR projects, assessing their impact, and representing Thanal at external events and meetings to expand collaborations and partnerships. What You’ll Do CSR Sourcing and Fund Generation Identify and pursue new CSR funding opportunities from national and international organizations aligned with Thanal’s mission. Develop proposals, pitch decks, and presentations to secure corporate funding. Represent Thanal at corporate events, conferences, and networking forums to build funding pool. 2. Stakeholder & Community Engagement Be the primary liaison for funders and collaborators, ensuring clear, consistent, and transparent communication. Connect, motivate, and collaborate with our grassroots beneficiaries, including local communities, schools, and volunteers, to ensure project success. 3. Project Management & Reporting: Support on-ground implementation of CSR-funded projects and maintain objectives and timelines. Prepare detailed, regular project progress reports, financial updates, and impact assessments to ensure complete transparency and accountability to our funders and collaborators. Maintain a calm and focused approach to consistently meet all project and reporting deadlines without stress. What We’re Looking For Graduate/Postgraduate with 2–3 years of experience in CSR, fundraising, or partnership roles. Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English. Genuine enthusiasm for environmental conservation and sustainability. Proven ability in networking, proposal writing, and relationship building. Must own a vehicle and be ready to travel extensively across our project sites in Kerala.
