Job Title: Accountant cum Admin Executive Location: Thakur Science Academy (Vasai (East) / NSP (East) / NSP (West) / Virar (West)) Job Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 2years (preferably in the education sector) Reports To: Director / Administrative Head Job Summary:Thakur Science Academy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin Executive to manage financial records and assist with administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have experience handling accounts, compliance, and back-office administration within an educational setup. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally or similar software Manage fee collection records for school and college sections Reconcile daily cash and bank transactions Prepare monthly financial reports, including fee dues and outstanding payments Manage staff salaries Coordinate with banks for deposits, statements, and fund transfers Administrative Responsibilities: Maintain student admission and attendance records Draft official communication and circulars for parents and staff Handle vendor management (stationery, printing, logistics, etc.) Support in organizing PTMs, exams, and events (NEET/JEE sessions, result displays) Maintain stock records for academic material and office supplies Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the academy Required Skills & Qualifications: B.Com or higher in Accounting/Finance or related field Good command of MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing accounts in a coaching institute or educational institution Familiarity with fee management systems Understanding of compliance related to educational bodies and private coaching regulations Salary: As per industry standards
