Full Time | 100% Work From Home | US Office Hours You will work closely with Client Success and support them by providing Tier-2 client support for software technical issues and work with Engineering department to debug and resolve the issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support to internal and external users including customer service teams as well as clients and partners Communication and coordination of feedback and inputs to the development team, mostly based in India Assist QA lead with QA activities Troubleshooting technical issues with minimal support from the development team Speaking to internal and external customers to quickly get to the root of their problem Propose workarounds to customers when the fix will take time to be released Providing timely and accurate customer feedback Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved Supporting the roll-out of new applications Providing support in the form of procedural documentation Managing multiple cases at one time. QA Engineer – Manual & Automation (Web + Mobile | 4–6 Years Experience) About Textellent, Inc. Textellent, Inc. is a leading SMS marketing platform that integrates with CRM systems to automate and personalize marketing, sales, and customer service campaigns. Our platform also offers self-service appointment scheduling with pre- and post-appointment drip campaigns. We are expanding our QA team to ensure our web and mobile SaaS applications deliver a seamless, high-quality user experience across devices in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Role Overview As a QA Engineer , you will design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for Textellent’s web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and head of engineering to validate quarterly deliverables within our Agile Kanban roadmap cycle . This role requires strong QA fundamentals, hands-on automation experience, and a passion for improving quality through innovation and AI-based testing tools. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with quarterly roadmap goals for both web and mobile applications. Perform functional, UI, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across multiple platforms and devices. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java, Appium, and Botgauge, integrated into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Identify, log, and track defects; analyze root causes and collaborate with developers for timely fixes. Maintain reusable regression suites, test data, and prepare QA reports and dashboards for quarterly reviews. Drive continuous improvement by exploring AI-based QA tools (e.g., Testim, Botgauge, ChatGPT-assisted testing) to enhance test efficiency, coverage, and quality processes. Required Technical Skills Manual Testing: Web, mobile, API, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory. Automation: Selenium with Java (TestNG/JUnit), Botgauge AI (or other such tools), Appium for mobile (or other such tools); Postman for API testing. CI/CD: Jenkins integration for automated validation. Test Management: Clickup or equivalent. Database Testing: SQL proficiency for backend validation. SaaS Testing: Hands-on experience testing large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS products. AI Exposure: Familiarity or interest in AI-assisted QA tools. Qualifications & Soft Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related discipline. Experience: 4–6 overall years in QA (Manual + Automation) with at least 2 years in automation. Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of QA processes – test planning, case design, execution, reporting, and defect lifecycle. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
