Texave Canada, Food Protection Global ANZ, and Yari QualiTech India are collaborating on a global initiative to reduce food trade rejections by 50%, strengthen regulatory compliance, and reduce food waste across international markets including ANZ, EU, UK, Canada, and the US. We are seeking a mid-level Project Leader with a Food Technology or Food Science background to lead execution of this high-impact global project. ROLE OVERVIEW As Project Leader, you will own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional food safety and trade initiatives, working closely with international experts, graduate interns, and external partners. ROLE DETAILS Location: India (Remote) Employment Type: Full-time Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension) Start: Immediate Compensation: Commensurate with experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan, execute, and deliver projects using appropriate project management methodologies and tools • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and trackers • Coordinate cross-functional teams across regions • Lead and mentor a team of 2 graduate interns • Run weekly project check-ins and ensure follow-through on actions • Prepare and circulate weekly project status updates • Manage stakeholders including laboratories, certification bodies, vendors, and regulatory experts • Support vendor outreach and maintain active engagement on relevant professional social media platforms • Ensure regulatory and food safety insights are translated into practical outputs • Track risks, dependencies, and priorities across workstreams • Support documentation, reporting, and case study development REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Safety, or related field • 3–6 years of relevant food industry experience • Working knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI, Codex, FDA, EFSA, FSANZ, CFIA) • Experience applying project management frameworks and tools • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment PREFERRED • PMP or equivalent project management certification • Experience managing junior team members or interns • Exposure to international or multi-country projects
