Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tekla API Developer with experience in Tekla Structures automation, API development, and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) standards. The candidate will be responsible for developing customized tools, plugins, and automation solutions to improve steel modelling, detailing, and engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom applications, plugins, and automation tools using Tekla Structures Open API.
• Develop software solutions using C# and the .NET framework.
• Automate steel modelling, detailing, drawing generation, and repetitive engineering tasks.
• Develop customized tools to improve productivity and accuracy in structural steel projects.
• Work with steel detailing and engineering teams to understand project requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Apply knowledge of AISC standards and American structural steel detailing practices to development workflows.
• Troubleshoot, test, debug, and maintain existing Tekla API applications.
• Integrate Tekla Structures with other applications and engineering workflows where required.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide support for developed tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures Open API.
• Strong programming skills in C# and .NET.
• Experience developing Tekla plugins, extensions, macros, or automation applications.
• Knowledge of structural steel modelling and detailing workflows.
• Understanding of AISC standards and American steel detailing practices.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on US-based structural steel projects.
• Knowledge of AISC design and detailing requirements.
• Experience automating steel connections, component creation, drawing generation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, Git, or other version-control tools.
• Experience collaborating with structural engineers and steel detailers

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
