Job Title:L3 Network Engineer Juniper/Fortinet (Managed Services) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 12+ Years Hire type: Full-time Shifts : Night shifts Job Summary: We are looking for a seasonedL3 Network Engineerwith strong expertise inJuniper routing/switchingandFortinet firewall technologiesto join ourManaged Services team. This role focuses on providing advanced support, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of client environments. Key Responsibilities: ProvideL3-level supportfor Juniper and Fortinet-based network infrastructures in managed service environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents, performance issues, and configuration errors. Manage and maintainJuniper routers/switchesandFortinet firewallsacross multiple client environments. Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues. Collaborate with L1/L2 teams to escalate and resolve critical incidents. Monitor network health using tools and dashboards; respond to alerts and outages. Apply configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and security patches as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of network topologies, configurations, and support procedures. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required. Required Qualifications: Certifications: JNCIA-Junos(Juniper Networks Certified Associate) NSE 4(Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 4) Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience withJuniper routing/switching(OSPF, BGP, VLANs, etc.). Proficient inFortinet firewallconfiguration, policy management, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with enterprise network monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow). Understanding of network security principles and best practices. Experience: 12+ years in a network support or operations role, preferably in amanaged servicesorMSPenvironment. Proven experience handling escalated network issues and working in SLA-driven environments. Preferred Qualifications: Higher-level Juniper or Fortinet certifications (e.g., JNCIP, NSE 5/6). Experience with SD-WAN, VPNs, and remote access solutions. Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting) is a plus.
