Job Brief: We are currently seeking a DCS Engineer to work out of our Hadapsar office. As a successful candidate, you will work as part of a global team and provide design, engineering, and technical support on a wide variety of process control system projects for our customers. With each project, you will be responsible for solving problems throughout the design process from conception to commissioning, while establishing effective working relationships with both internal and external customers. Educational Qualification Required: BE/ Diploma/ BTech- B.E. Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineers Minimum Experiences required : 2 To 5 Years Responsibility: Detailed hardware engineering for Honeywell C300 and HPM cabinets. Hardware pre- FAT/ FAT- attended for multiple projects. Detailed BOM (Bill of Materials) knowledge of Honeywell systems. Detailed I/O Assignment knowledge. Detailed P&ID understanding for close loop system. Detailed C300 control module configuration application knowledge. Detailed C300 Sequential control module. Detailed FDS/ DDS/ FAT/ SAT testing documents knowledge. Detailed control module/ SCM testing & simulation as per control FDA/ ODS documents knowledge. Multiple site commissioning experience Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in Honeywell Experion System C300 controller, and other DCS systems Hand-on experience in troubleshooting problems on Honeywell C300 Experion systems and interface with 3rd party control systems. Hands-on experience in understanding and performing minor modifications in logic (Function block diagram, Ladder Logic, Structured Text language, Sequential Flow chart) and performing Interlock and function tests on DCS, SIS, and PLC. Hands-on experience in taking application and configuration backup of PLC, HMI, and specialized standalone controllers. Hands-on experience in the maintenance of PDP and power distribution circuit to control systems, RIO, and marshaling cabinets. Modern DCS systems such as Honeywell Experion C300, Emerson DeltaV, ABB800X, Foxboro, Yokogawa-centum VP, PCS7, etc. Process Knowledge, field engineering and commissioning, and verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities: 1. Works independently & is fully proficient in applying established standards of Solution Architect role 2. Solution Architect needs to work and coordinate with Sales Management, Sales Account Managers, LSS Leaders (FSM/SBM), LSS Marketing / Solutions Consultants, Field Service Specialists (FSS) and the Proposal & Estimation team in making the proposal / estimate. 3. Ensure that requests are executed within agreed cycle time 4. Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the end user by doing thorough Level 1 quality checks. 5. Work closely with the Account Manager, Field Service manager and Field service specialist to produce the best technical solutions and ultimate deliverable within time and quality. 6. Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, labor, that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives. 7. Follow the Quality standards and processes as defined by Internal global business operations. 8. Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Process flow charts, Quick Reference Documents, Checklists etc. 9. Updation of request status in Siebel and log and update the other metrics pertaining to the requirement from LOB. 10. Log the timecard and take approvals. 11. Readiness to travel to site as required. Skills :- QCS and PMD process knowledge including various machines / equipment involved, Control Systems knowledge used for QCS / PMD controls, Control Systems knowledge used for QCS / PMD controls – Honeywell, Third Party Communications Protocols (Modbus/OPC etc..), Project Documentation (FDS, DDS, Cabinet GA etc.), Basic Networking Concepts , Basic Virtualization Concepts, FAT, SAT, and Commissioning, Third Party DCS / PLC System.
