ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials, cutting tools, hardware and secondary processes like hardening, surface treatment etc., Negotiate with vendors for cost, delivery timelines, payment terms, and quality. Release purchase orders (POs) in line with production requirements and follow up for on-time delivery Build long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers. Track vendor performance on delivery, quality, and cost. Handling the existing vendors and developing new vendors (as and when required).
