Company (Engineering & Turnkey Solutions) is a Mumbai-based marine automation and electrical company, incorporated in 2013 and registered as an MSME under Udyam. We have offices and panel manufacturing units in Mumbai and Kochi, and operational presence in Cochin, Karwar, Dubai and Singapore.

Our work covers AMS, PMS, boiler automation, IGG systems, CPP and main engine remote

control retrofits, DP1-to-DP2 conversions, data logging and fuel flow monitoring. We are

Authorised System Integrators for Honeywell and DEIF, and have systems approved by DNV, LR, ABS, BV and ClassNK. Clients include the Indian Navy, CSL, GRSE and international ship owners.

JD 1: Techno-Commercial Manager – Defence (IN / ICG)

Location: Mumbai (travel to naval dockyards, DPSU shipyards and DGQA offices)

Reports to: Managing Director

Role summary

.The role joins technical understanding with tendering, compliance and documentation, so that our bids are compliant, competitive and delivered to defence standards.

Key responsibilities

Track and respond to tenders from IN, ICG and DPSU shipyards (MDL, GRSE, GSL, CSL,

HSL) on GeM, CPPP and shipyard portals.

Prepare techno-commercial bids, EOIs, compliance statements, costing inputs and pre-

bid queries.

Interpret SOTR, NES, Def Stan, class rules and DPSU norms, and map them to our

technical offer.

Coordinate DGQA / NQAA inspections, QAPs, FAT and HAT/SAT documentation.

Prepare and manage documentation: drawings for approval, manuals, test reports,

certificates and as-built packs.

Handle vendor registration and empanelment with naval authorities and DPSUs.

Follow up on purchase orders, LDs, bank guarantees, milestone billing and payment

release.

Build relationships with naval HQ, dockyards, ship project teams and DPSU

procurement.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, E&TC or Marine Engineering; MBA is an advantage.

6+ years in defence shipbuilding or naval projects, with tendering and documentation

experience.

Ex-Navy or ICG technical officers are welcome to apply.

Skills

Working knowledge of DPP/DAP, GFR, MSME purchase preference and Make in India

norms.

Familiarity with DGQA processes, NES and Def Stan specifications.

Strong costing, contract reading and negotiation skills.

Disciplined documentation and deadline management.

Pay: ₹780,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
