Role Summary Technnect is hiring a project-based Automation Engineer (n8n) to own automation development end-to-end . You’ll work independently to build, test, troubleshoot, and deploy n8n workflows, while coordinating with our internal team and the client for requirements, UAT, and sign-off. Engagement Contract / Project-based Remote Start: Immediate Works closely with: Technnect SPOC + client stakeholders Responsibilities Build and maintain n8n workflows (triggers, branching, transformations, validations, orchestration). Integrate tools via REST APIs, webhooks, JSON , and native n8n nodes. Implement auth + credential security (OAuth2, tokens, API keys). Ensure production reliability: error handling, retries, alerts, logging , and quick troubleshooting. Support deployment/self-hosting where needed (Docker/VPS/cloud basics). Run requirement discussions, demos, UAT support, and ensure clean handover. Document workflows: logic, dependencies, access/credentials, and troubleshooting steps. Must Have Strong hands-on experience with n8n . Solid API integration skills (REST, webhooks, JSON, authentication). JavaScript for custom logic (TypeScript is a plus). Proven ability to work as an independent owner and communicate clearly with teams + clients. Good to Have Self-hosted n8n + Docker experience. CRM/Google Workspace/Slack/email/database integrations. WhatsApp integrations (Meta/Twilio/other providers). Familiarity with rate limits, scaling patterns, and security best practices.
