Job Summary
We are looking for a technically skilled and proactive Technical Support & Maintenance Executive responsible for handling machine troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and technical support. The candidate will ensure that all company machines and equipment are functioning efficiently, minimise operational downtime, and coordinate with vendors and technical teams for installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Machine Installation & Setup
- Handle installation, commissioning and setup of new machines and equipment.
- Ensure machines are installed according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for machine installation.
- Conduct initial testing and ensure machines are ready for operation.
- Provide technical guidance to employees on machine usage.
2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Identify and resolve technical issues and breakdowns in machines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical or operational problems.
- Provide immediate technical support during machine failures.
- Coordinate with external technicians or service providers for complex issues.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and uninterrupted operations.
3. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Conduct regular machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain maintenance schedules for all machines and equipment.
- Identify potential issues before they lead to major breakdowns.
- Maintain records of repairs, breakdowns and maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely servicing and replacement of machine components.
4. Vendor & Spare Parts Coordination
- Coordinate with machine suppliers, service engineers and vendors.
- Follow up on service requests, repairs and warranty claims.
- Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate procurement.
- Monitor vendor service quality and turnaround time.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain machine installation and maintenance records.
- Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports.
- Track machine breakdowns, repair timelines and recurring issues.
- Report major technical issues and maintenance requirements to management.
- Maintain equipment warranty and service documentation.
6. Safety & Operational Compliance
- Ensure machines are operated and maintained safely.
- Follow safety procedures during installation, repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure employees follow the prescribed machine operating guidelines.
- Identify and report potential technical and operational risks.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of machine installation and commissioning.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. The candidate should be capable of independently identifying technical issues, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring machines remain operational with minimum downtime.
