We are looking for a motivated Technician / Deployment Engineer to join our team in Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for technically inclined candidates who enjoy hands-on work, field installations, troubleshooting, and working with emerging technologies.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of IoT-enabled smart parking technology at client sites.

We welcome candidates from electronics, electrical, IT hardware, networking, CCTV, access control, automation, and field service backgrounds. Candidates who enjoy practical technical work and learning new systems are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications and hands-on technical skills may also be considered, including freshers with suitable practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and check installation requirements, power availability, cabling, and network connectivity.
• Install and configure IoT devices, sensors, electronic hardware, and related components.
• Perform wiring, mounting, hardware setup, connectivity checks, and system testing.
• Support installation, commissioning, and successful go-live of deployed systems.
• Assist with basic software configuration and hardware-to-network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, network, and communication issues at client locations.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and breakdown support.
• Work with the central technology team to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Guide client and site teams on the basic operation and use of installed systems.
• Prepare service reports, installation checklists, maintenance records, and deployment documentation.
• Maintain records of tools, spare parts, and equipment used during site activities.
• Travel to client locations across Bengaluru and other locations in India when required for deployments.

Suitable Candidate Backgrounds

Eligibility & Skills

• ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 1–4 years of relevant experience in field service, installation, hardware support, networking, or maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electronic devices, hardware components, cabling, and networking.
• Practical troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Comfortable working at client sites and travelling as required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during planned deployments and system go-live activities.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage site activities independently while coordinating with the central technical team.
