We are looking for a hands-on Technician / Deployment Engineer to join our growing team in Mumbai. If you enjoy working with technology, installing hardware, solving technical problems, and working at different client sites, this role could be a great fit for you.

Role Overview

As a Technician / Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining IoT-enabled smart parking systems at client locations.

This is a practical, field-based role suitable for candidates with experience in technical installation, electronics, networking, CCTV, access control, automation, hardware support, or field service engineering.

Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications and strong practical technical skills may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to assess installation requirements and infrastructure readiness.
• Install and configure IoT devices, electronic hardware, sensors, and related equipment.
• Carry out hardware installation, wiring, connectivity setup, testing, and commissioning.
• Configure and test basic network connections and system communication.
• Support new site deployments, system integration, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures, connectivity issues, and basic software or networking problems.
• Perform routine maintenance, preventive checks, and breakdown support.
• Coordinate with the central technical team to resolve complex issues.
• Explain the basic operation of deployed systems to client and site personnel.
• Maintain installation checklists, service reports, deployment records, and equipment inventory.
• Travel to different client locations in Mumbai and other locations as required for projects.

Eligibility & Skills

• ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Typically 1–4 years of experience in installation, field service, maintenance, technical support, or a similar role.
• Basic understanding of hardware, cabling, networking, and electronic devices.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot common technical issues.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work in a field-based environment.
• Comfortable with occasional flexible working hours during installations and go-live activities.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the technical team.
