Technical Supply Chain Manager

1. Job Purpose

To manage end-to-end technical procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring that all materials meet client specifications, are procured at competitive prices, and are delivered within the committed timelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with clients and consultants to understand material specifications, BOQs, and technical requirements.
• Verify product specifications, datasheets, certifications, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the technical and site teams to identify suitable products and alternatives.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations and prepare technical and commercial comparative statements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate purchase requisitions, approvals, and purchase orders.

Supply Chain & Logistics

• Track purchase orders, dispatches, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with vendors, transport agencies, and site teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Proactively resolve supply delays, material shortages, and incorrect deliveries.

Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with sales, technical, accounts, and site execution teams.
• Ensure procurement aligns with approved budgets, client commitments, and project schedules.
• Provide regular updates on procurement status and pending deliveries.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain vendor databases, quotation records, purchase orders, and delivery trackers.
• Collect and maintain relevant technical documents, certificates, and warranty details.
• Monitor vendor performance, procurement costs, and delivery timelines.

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience in fire protection systems, MEP projects, industrial equipment, or engineering products is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely procurement and material delivery.
• Competitive pricing and cost optimisation.
• Accuracy of technical specifications and purchase orders.
• Vendor reliability and performance.
• Timely preparation of comparative statements.
• Effective coordination and documentation.

5. Expected Outcome

To ensure a seamless procurement process by coordinating effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining technical compliance, cost efficiency, and timely material delivery.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
