As a Technical Specialist-Cloud & Infra Engg at BIRLASOFT OFFICE in NOIDA, INDIA, your primary responsibilities will include: - Handling Oracle DBA & MSSQL DBA tasks such as configuration, management, and monitoring of databases, including replication, standby DR, high availability, and performance tuning. - Managing Oracle Database upgrades, migration, and installations from lower to higher versions, as well as implementing and migrating mission-critical databases. - Providing support for MSSQL Server database architecture, performance tuning, backup, and network-related issues, including managing database jobs and performing upgrades or migrations. - Managing RDS databases, including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Timestream DB, by patching, upgrading, and refreshing databases, as well as handling instance type RDS databases and performing database migrations. - Demonstrating basic knowledge of AWS Cloud Administration. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work on Sybase DB administration tasks at the L1 level, including database refresh, restore, stop and start operations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of database systems, as well as contributing to the efficient operation of cloud infrastructure.,
