Technical Project Manager - AI/ML | Hybrid | 7+Yrs | Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with 7+ years of IT project management experience and strong exposure to AI/Generative AI. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of AI-driven technology initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, data scientists, and AI/ML teams.

The ideal candidate should combine strong project delivery, stakeholder management, Agile practices, and AI/GenAI understanding to drive projects from ideation/PoC through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of AI/GenAI projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, quality, and budgets.

• Managed and Delivered AI product development is a value add

• Translate business requirements into clear project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and execution plans.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, developers, data scientists, architects, and business teams.

• Drive AI/GenAI PoCs, pilots, and production implementations, ensuring timely resolution of dependencies and blockers.

• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, resource requirements, and overall project health.

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

• Manage project governance, stakeholder communication, status reporting, and leadership reviews.

• Work with technical teams to understand and track AI lifecycle activities such as data readiness, model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Support prioritization of AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, effort, and expected outcomes.

• Proactively identify risks and drive mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ensure effective transition of solutions from development/PoC to production and business adoption. Required

Skills & Experience

• 7–14 years of experience in AI Project Management / Technology Delivery.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Strong exposure to AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, or AI-powered applications.

• Good understanding of GenAI concepts such as LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and AI-based automation.

• Experience managing AI/GenAI PoCs or implementations will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.

• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Good to Have

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum / SAFe certification.

• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP AI services.

• Experience with enterprise AI transformation or automation initiatives.

• Understanding of MLOps, AI governance, data engineering, or model lifecycle management.
