Temporary Gig!!! Hire is a pioneering peer-to-peer rental marketplace launching in Bengaluru. We are building an innovative platform to address the trust and efficiency issues in India's rental market. Our vision is to create a seamless ecosystem for renting both products and properties. We're a self-funded, early-stage startup with a big vision, and we're currently building our founding team. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Assessor to assist us on a short-term, contract basis. We have a shortlist of top 10 candidates for our foundational Full-Stack Developer role and need an expert to rigorously vet them. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will directly influence the technical foundation of our company. Your role will be to provide a neutral, in-depth technical assessment to help us make the most critical hire. What You'll Do: - Conduct technical deep-dive interviews (60-90 minutes) with a shortlist of 10 candidates, focusing on core skills. - Assess their proficiency in our key technologies: Node.js, Django, PostgreSQL, React.js, and AWS. - Critically evaluate their experience with cross-platform mobile development (React Native) for both Android and iOS. - Lead a system design and collaboration simulation session with our top candidates to evaluate their architectural thinking and communication skills. - Provide a clear, concise recommendation and detailed feedback on each candidate's technical strengths and weaknesses. Who We're Looking For: - 5+ years of experience as a Senior or Lead Software Developer. - Extensive, hands-on experience in our preferred tech stack: Node.js/Django, PostgreSQL, React.js, and AWS. - Proven expertise in mobile development, specifically with React Native for both Android and iOS. - A strong understanding of scalable architecture, system design, and best practices. - Prior experience as a technical interviewer or in a technical HR role is a significant plus. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and objective feedback. Compensation: This is a paid contract role. Compensation will be offered on a competitive hourly or project basis, depending on your preference.
