Job Title: Advertising Tracking Specialist Location: Remote Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Tracking Specialist to implement and validate advertising tracking solutions across various client websites and digital funnels. This role ensures consistent and actionable data flows to advertising platforms, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, enabling precise performance tracking and campaign attribution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media buyers, client success managers, and developers, to support campaign success and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage tags using Google Tag Manager (GTM) across websites Configure conversion events, goals, and custom dimensions/metrics in GA4 , Google Ads , and Meta Ads Deploy and manage Floodlight tags via Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) Audit and troubleshoot tracking issues across platforms Ensure full-funnel tracking: landing pages, checkouts, post-conversion events Maintain documentation of tracking setups and tag structures Assist with server-side tracking, UTM parameter management, and session/user ID stitching Support pixel implementations for platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) Proficiency in Campaign Manager 360 (Floodlight setup and tag management) In-depth knowledge of conversion tracking in Google Ads , Meta Ads , and GA4 Strong debugging skills using browser dev tools , Tag Assistant , and Pixel Helper Understanding of both client-side and server-side tagging Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify , WooCommerce , or Webflow Ability to read/edit basic HTML and JavaScript snippets Strong documentation and attention to detail Nice to Have Familiarity with Google Ads Enhanced Conversions and Meta Conversions API (CAPI) Experience with Consent Mode v2 and GDPR-compliant setups Skills in Looker Studio , BigQuery , or similar tools for data validation Knowledge of postback URLs , affiliate tracking, and server-side event reporting Experience with Firebase and mobile analytics platforms like Appsflyer , Adjust , or Branch
