Role Summary We are seeking an experienced On-Site Network Migration Engineer to support a scheduled migration activity. The engineer will be responsible for providing hands-on technical assistance, console access, device configuration support, and real-time coordination with the remote project team via Microsoft Teams. Key Responsibilities Arrive on-site 30 minutes before the migration window to complete access clearance. Assist with network device migration activities as guided by the remote engineering team. Provide console access to Cisco devices using pre-tested Cisco USB-RJ45 console cables. Perform required configuration uploads, reboots, and connectivity checks. Use PuTTY for console operations and troubleshooting. Communicate continuously with the remote team via Microsoft Teams during the entire migration. Document steps performed, provide status updates, and report any issues immediately. Ensure all required tools and connectivity devices are working prior to the migration. Mandatory Requirements The engineer must arrive equipped with the following: Laptop with local admin rights and functional USB ports . 4G/5G USB modem for backup connectivity. PuTTY installed. Microsoft Teams installed and ready to join calls. 2× Cisco USB-RJ45 console cables (pre-tested before arrival). 1× USB stick (8–16 GB) formatted as FAT32. 5× Cat5e or better patch cables (mix of 3 m and 10 m). Headset for clear audio communication during the Teams session.
