We're building UpdraftCentral, the platform that will empower millions of WordPress site owners. UpdraftCentral is an all-in-one-place platform offering a range of features for anyone managing multiple WordPress websites. It's been around for a while now but we're ready to level-up. You will be working together with a small, global team involved in development and testing of the next iteration of UpdraftCentral. The day-to-day role: Collaborate with others on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes and improvements Work in JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress libraries to write clean, efficient and secure code Write inline documentation for your code Test and produce testing guides for your code Manage your own time to fulfil your tasks Research / debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support team Your exact responsibilities will depend on your experience, how this fits with other members of the team and subject to discussion and agreement! Requirements You'll definitely need experience with: JavaScript & JQuery - an essential part of UpdraftCentral PHP - the core language of WordPress and strong skills in this area is essential WordPress plugin development or solutions built around WordPress It would be nice if you also have experience with: GitHub / GitLab / Git - nice to have, but can be learnt quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN Prefetching data and optimizing plugin performance If we've captured your interest, we would love to hear from you.
