Your expertise will be key in elevating the team's overall technical capabilities Architectural Contributions: Collaborate with the team to define and evolve the technical architecture of UpdraftCentral, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability Problem Solving & Research: Proactively research, diagnose, and resolve complex technical challenges, working independently or in collaboration with team members and support Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful solutions Requirements 3+ years of significant experience in PHP WordPress Plugin Development, with a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, best practices, and API is a must Proven experience in code review or peer review, with a strong ability to provide constructive feedback and enforce coding standards Demonstrated ability in mentoring and offering technical guidance to less experienced developers Expert-level proficiency in PHP, with experience in developing complex, object-oriented applications Strong command of JavaScript & jQuery, essential for our front-end interfaces Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL), including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning Extensive experience with server environments and hosting configurations (e.g., Apache, Nginx, cloud platforms) is a huge plus and highly valued Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab Experience with optimizing plugin performance and prefetching data is highly desirable Benefits Why Join Us We are a globally distributed, highly flexible team that values autonomy and impact.
