Team leader/Port Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Overall management of the project including project planning, team coordination, technical oversight, stakeholder engagement, risk management, regulatory compliance, documentation, reporting and quality control, ensuring that all objectives and deliverables are met according to the timeline and budget; Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project, including the development plan for CPEP Phase II; Lead the review of previous reports and data related to the Western Breakwater extension; Ensure all site investigations and additional studies are conducted as required; Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering designs for the breakwater extension, logistic area, and common infrastructure; Manage the preparation of bidding documents and procurement strategies; Liaise with stakeholders, including GOSL and SLPA, for technical issues and negotiations; Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards including international and national design codes; Leading the preparation of deliverables D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8 & D9

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  MSc or higher qualification in PortEngineering / Port Planning and Development
• Fluent in English language in writing, listening, and speaking
• Min. 15 years experience
• Expert having work experience in port & port infrastructure planning with layouts, Engineering design for breakwaters, sea walls, quay walls, dredging and Project planning & management.
