JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with clients on tax returns, tax research, tax communications, and other requested deliverables.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and mentoring to the Tax Team.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide tax planning, consulting, and technical expertise.
  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and engagement timelines.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and engagement partners regarding project status, client service opportunities, and significant matters.
  • Perform detailed reviews of tax workpapers and tax provision calculations prepared by associates.
  • Participate in and contribute to business development initiatives and growth strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Provide innovative tax planning solutions and review complex income tax returns.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

  • Strong client-service orientation with an innate desire to support and serve business owners.
  • Highly accountable, deadline-driven, and committed to delivering on promises.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 4+ years of relevant public tax accounting experience.
  • Valid and current CPA license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with tax accounting software.
