Roles and Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, bank deposits and cash flow statements. Manage accounts payable and receivable; follow up on collections. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS for management. Reconcile vendor and customer statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist in GST return preparation and filings and coordinate with tax consultants for statutory compliance. Support payroll processing and related statutory compliances (PF, ESI, TDS). Assist during internal and external audits and help prepare audit schedules. Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Prepare and maintain basic inventory books and cost records for process flow, variance analysis and control. Oversee daily cash position, prepare cash receipts and payments reports, and ensure timely petty cash reconciliation.
