As a Fellow in Laboratory Haematology at Tata Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis, management, monitoring, and prognostication of hemato-lymphoid malignancies, non-hematological malignancies, and benign haematological disorders. The state-of-the-art haematology laboratory at Tata Medical Center, which is NABL accredited, is equipped with advanced technology to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests and analyses. Your clinical responsibilities will involve daily slide review and sign out of cases, including peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirate smears, and bone marrow biopsies. You will be responsible for the validation processes of hemocytometry and coagulation lab parameters, ensuring internal quality control and external quality assurance on a daily basis. Collaborating with the faculty, you will review hematology cases, offer diagnoses, and progressively take on more responsibilities in case sign-outs with decreasing levels of supervision.
