Basic understanding of communication protocols (Open Modbus, TCP/IP, Profinet, Serial). Familiarity with PLC programming and ladder logic. Knowledge of SCADA systems and their architecture. Hands on experience with PLC programming and SCADA/HMI graphics development based on Control Narratives, P&ID etc. Create and manage standard Function Libraries for reusable control logic. Configure and troubleshoot redundancy systems including Software Redundancy and Hot Redundancy. Set up and manage server-client architecture, server redundancy, SCADA reporting using SQL, Historian, and Alarm systems. Install and activate SCADA software on dedicated servers. Logical development in AB PLC, Factory Talk View. Proficient in PLC to PLC communication and third party integration using Modbus or Via OPC. Participate in on-site commissioning at global locations and directly interact with international client. Should have a strong understanding of ISA standards and proficiency in interpreting ISA symbols. Lead commissioning activities and troubleshooting in process industries like Oil & Gas, Mining, Power or Chemicals. Knowledge of network devices like firewall, Layer 2 & Layer 3, Ethernet switches along with the configuration strategies. Desired Profile- Strong automation project execution background with Rockwell and AVEVA platforms. Knowledge on PlantPAx systems and Rockwell Automation software suite. Familiarity with global project environments and remote team collaboration. Ready to travel overseas for project deployments and site commissioning.
