As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional projects from start to finish. Role Summary - The Project Engineer is a pivotal mixed role, combining technical expertise with direct on-site management. This individual will be a critical part of our project implementation team, responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, quality, and smooth execution of all on-site activities, including installation and calibration. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Coordinator and Technical Manager to maintain our high standards of excellence and will serve as the primary on-site technical lead. Key Responsibilities - On-Site Installation & Guidance: Lead all on-site activities, including providing guidance to third-party agencies like electricians, carpenters, and false ceiling contractors. Ensure all installation work is conducted in line with approved designs and quality control protocols. Site Progress Tracking: Regularly visit sites to track project progress, document key milestones, and conduct video calls for any required verification or study. Provide timely updates to the Project Coordinator. System Integration & Wiring: Perform and oversee the physical installation, wiring, and integration of all AV equipment, including displays, speakers, and control systems, ensuring all components are correctly interconnected as per the system design. Drawing & Design Review: Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to review and validate project drawings, equipment locations, and electrical schematics, ensuring technical feasibility and adherence to our standards. Testing & Calibration: Conduct comprehensive testing of the installed AV systems and perform professional audio and video calibration to ensure optimal performance before client handover. Documentation & Reporting: Contribute to project documentation, including on-site progress reports, and assist in compiling the final user manuals and technical handover documents for the client. Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the project team and support the Project Coordinator in client communication, addressing any technical queries or concerns related to on-site activities. Qualification & Skills - Education: A degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the audio-visual, electronics, or a similar field. Experience in project-based work is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AV systems, including signal flow, cable management, networking, and control systems. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaboration: A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
