Role Overview We are seeking a Backend Developer who can architect, build, and scale the backend systems powering SummonMinds AI-driven platform. You will work closely with our AI, frontend, and design teams to bring to life real-time conversations, user data systems, and AI integration layers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage startups , enjoys hands-on problem solving , and can take ownership of entire backend modules from day one. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for AI communication and user management. Integrate LLMs, speech synthesis, and video call APIs into the backend pipeline. Build efficient data structures for user sessions, memories, and conversational logs. Optimize server performance for low-latency real-time interactions. Implement secure authentication, access control, and user privacy protocols. Collaborate with the AI and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features. Set up CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring infrastructure. Participate in early product architecture discussions and help shape the tech stack. What Were Looking For 25 years of backend development experience (startup or product-based preferred). Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture. Hands-on experience with AI or ML integrations (a big plus). Ability to work independently and manage time in a fast-moving environment. Passionate about AI, psychology, and creating human-like digital interactions.
