Talent Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Manager to lead and manage relationships with professional athletes, influencers, and sports personalities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sports ecosystem, experience in talent acquisition and management, and the ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

1. Athlete Representation:

• Act as the primary liaison between athletes and sponsors.
• Ensure athletes' interests and brand image align with endorsements and digital partnerships.
• Advocate for athletes in contract negotiations, endorsement and other digital activation terms.
• Work with the player for their day to day requirements.

2. Brand Management:

• Develop and manage the personal brand of athletes to maximize marketability.
• Servicing brands/clients to eventually lead to retention/renewals.
• Oversee social media and PR efforts to maintain a positive public image.

3. Endorsement & Digital Partnership:

• Develop and execute sponsorship strategies for athletes to secure endorsement deals.
• Cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, brands, and agencies.
• Negotiate sponsorship contracts and endorsements on behalf of athletes

4. Event and Media Coordination:

• Coordinate appearances, promotional events, and speaking engagements.
• Coordinate media events and appearances – Liaise regularly with the PR team

5. Digital Marketing & Strategy:

• Identify social media strategy for each athlete and work closely with the digital team to ensure the talent is happy with our support in building their social media presence.

6. Legal and Contractual Compliance:

• Work closely with legal advisors to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and legal requirements.

7. Market Analysis and Strategy:

• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
• Identify new opportunities for athlete endorsements and sponsorships.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in talent management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
