Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Execution Develop and implement production plans aligned with organizational goals. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and materials. Coordinate with merchandising, procurement, and design teams for smooth workflow. 2. Operations Management Supervise weaving,, dyeing, finishing, production operations. Ensure compliance with production timelines, cost budgets, and quality standards. Drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and process optimization. Monitor machine performance and ensure minimal downtime. 3. Quality Assurance Implement strict quality control systems at every production stage. Work closely with the QA/QC team to minimize defects and rejections. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, certifications, and industry standards. 4. Team Leadership & Development Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors, shift in-charges, and operators. Develop skill enhancement programs for workers. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment (compliance with EHS standards). 5. Cost & Inventory Control Optimize resource utilization to reduce production costs. Monitor raw material, trims, and accessories usage to avoid wastage. Coordinate with the purchase team for timely material availability. 6. Reporting & Analysis Maintain production MIS reports (output, efficiency, rejections, downtime). Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to top management. 7. Compliance & Sustainability Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and factory regulations. Support sustainability initiatives (energy saving, waste reduction, eco-friendly production). Prepare for audits (buyer audits, ISO, SA8000, WRAP, etc.).
