We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Microbiologist (Fresher) to join our team. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals in a supportive setting, acquiring practical knowledge in various aspects of microbiology. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to research projects that further our comprehension of microbial processes and their practical applications. You will work under the guidance of senior staff to carry out microbiological experiments and assays. Your tasks will involve preparing and maintaining microbial cultures with a focus on aseptic techniques. Additionally, you will be responsible for routine laboratory duties such as media preparation, sterilization, and disposal of biohazard materials. It will be crucial to collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data meticulously while maintaining accurate records. Furthermore, you will assist in developing and validating new microbiological methods and protocols, as well as presenting findings during team meetings and contributing to research discussions. Adherence to safety guidelines and laboratory best practices is paramount to ensure a secure working environment. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in microbiology and related fields will also be expected from you. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field. - Proficiency in basic microbiological techniques and principles. - Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocols. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. - Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional growth. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship or project experience in a microbiology laboratory. - Knowledge of molecular biology techniques like PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc. - Understanding of data analysis software and tools. This is a full-time position suitable for fresher candidates. The job location is at Vill. Handesra, Lalru, Mohali, Punjab, 140501. The benefits include leave encashment and paid sick time.
