Sybase Database Admin

As a Sybase Database Admin, you will be responsible for managing high performance issues, resolving P1 tickets, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Sybase database system. With 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you will be expected to handle tasks such as upgrade/installation/license management and provide support across different domains. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high availability through replication and clustering. Your key responsibilities will include database performance tuning, Sybase DB upgrade/installation, Sybase client installation, Sybase migration cross-platform, database refresh, Sybase IQ installation, and Sybase Replication. Moreover, you will be required to possess a strong understanding of Sybase SQL Anywhere, MSSQL, Microsoft SQL server management, MSSQL High Availability, and Oracle. Cross-skilling in Hana or other related skills will be an added advantage. Throughout the hiring process, you will undergo screening rounds with HR, followed by two technical rounds before the final HR round.
