Job Title: HR Manager Location: Santacruz West Mumbai Reporting To: Directors Why Join Us Growing organization with long-term vision Exposure to manufacturing, projects, and EPC environment Opportunity to build HR systems from a strategic level Experience: 5-8 Years Industry Preference : Manufacturing / Engineering / EPC / Industrial Projects Job Purpose The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the complete HR function including recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, performance management, payroll coordination, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with company goals and Indian labor laws. Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment & Talent Management Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff, engineers, factory teams, site teams, and management roles. Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning Manage onboarding, induction, and confirmation processes 2. HR Operations Maintain employee records, HR MIS, attendance, leave, and shift systems Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters 3. Payroll & Compensation Coordinate payroll processing with accounts. Ensure accuracy in salaries, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions Manage CTC structuring. 4. Statutory Compliance (India) Ensure compliance with: PF, ESIC, PT, LWF Factories Act / Shops & Establishment Act Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour Act Liaise with consultants, auditors, and labor authorities Handle inspections and audits smoothly. 5. Performance Management Design and manage appraisal systems and KPIs Support management in performance improvement plans Drive employee engagement and productivity initiatives. 6. Training & Development Identify training needs (technical & behavioral) Organize internal and external training programs Support leadership. 7. Employee Engagement & Culture Promote a positive, ethical, and disciplined work culture Plan engagement activities, rewards, and recognition programs Act as a bridge between management and employees Key Skills & Competencies 1. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws & compliance 2. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills 3. Leadership and conflict resolution abilities 4. Experience with HR software / payroll systems 5. Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity Qualifications 1. MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent 2. Certification in labor laws or HR compliance preferred
