Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Staffing Manpower planning for various construction projects. End-to-end recruitment of engineers, supervisors, site workers, and office staff. Manage onboarding and induction for new employees. 2. Compliance & Labor Law Ensure adherence to labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, minimum wages, and other statutory compliances. Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections. Handle contractors’ compliance and agreements. 3. Payroll & Attendance Oversee salary processing, leave records, and attendance systems (including site staff). Manage overtime, contractor billing verification, and wage distribution. 4. Training & Development Conduct skill development, safety training, and behavioral training programs. Support professional growth of engineers and site staff. 5. Performance Management Implement appraisal systems and performance monitoring. Reward, recognition, and corrective action as required. 6. Employee Relations & Engagement Resolve employee grievances at sites and head office. Build a positive work environment to reduce attrition. Conduct team-building activities and welfare programs. 7. Health, Safety & Welfare Coordinate with safety officers for compliance with site safety standards. Ensure workers’ welfare facilities (accommodation, food, medical, etc.) are managed properly. 8. Strategic HR Planning Align workforce strategy with company’s growth plans. Monitor productivity and manpower utilization across projects.
