Manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilatory and hemodynamic support. Perform invasive procedures such as: Central venous catheterization Arterial line placement, Intubation, Chest tube insertion Oversee advanced therapies like dialysis, ECMO, and plasmapheresis. Interpret clinical data, lab results, and imaging to make informed decisions. Develop and update individualized treatment plans for ICU patients. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other specialists for holistic patient care. Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff. Communicate prognosis, treatment options, and critical updates to patients' families. Maintain comprehensive medical records in line with hospital protocols. Conduct clinical rounds, training sessions, and workshops for ICU staff. Assist in developing ICU policies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor resource utilization and ensure the smooth functioning of the ICU.
