Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including: Upper GI endoscopy (OGD) Colonoscopy ERCP Sigmoidoscopy Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care. Provide in-patient and out-patient consultation services. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up care plans. Maintain high standards of infection control and procedural safety. Train and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and endoscopy technicians. Participate in academic activities, clinical audits, and CME programs. Support hospital quality initiatives and comply with NABH standards (if applicable). Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including: X-rays Ultrasounds CT scans MRI scans Interventional procedures Collaborate with referring physicians and other specialists to provide accurate diagnostic insights. Ensure timely reporting and documentation of imaging studies. Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, technologists, and support staff. Ensure adherence to protocols for radiation safety and patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and departmental meetings. Keep abreast of advancements in radiology and implement best practices. Support quality improvement initiatives and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
