A. Procurement & Purchasing
- Handle end-to-end procurement of electronic components, PCB-related materials, IoT sensors, microcontrollers, development boards, cables, connectors, tools, robotics components, lab equipment, and general consumables.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, distributors, OEMs, and service providers.
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and related procurement documents.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply delays, quality issues, and discrepancies.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, technical compliance, and commercial terms before placing orders.
- Maintain an updated vendor database, price lists, lead times, and supplier performance records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand material requirements and plan purchases accordingly.
B. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate records of incoming, outgoing, and available inventory using ERP software, inventory management systems, or Excel.
- Monitor stock levels, minimum stock thresholds, reorder points, and material consumption.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with recorded inventory.
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, identification, and traceability of materials.
- Track material issued to engineering teams, production, project sites, training labs, and other departments.
- Maintain records of serial numbers, batch numbers, warranty periods, and shelf life wherever applicable.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, excess, and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective action.
- Support periodic and annual stock audits.
C. Material Receipt & Documentation
- Coordinate with stores, logistics, vendors, and internal departments for material receipt and dispatch.
- Verify delivered materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate quality and quantity inspections with the concerned technical team.
- Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material issue slips, stock registers, and return/replacement records.
- Track rejected, damaged, short-supplied, and returned materials until resolution.
- Maintain organized physical and digital records for procurement and inventory transactions.
D. Logistics & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate domestic shipments, courier services, transportation, and material movement.
- Track dispatches and deliveries for customer projects, internal development, and institutional lab installations.
- Coordinate with vendors for replacements, repairs, warranty claims, and after-sales support.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for project milestones and urgent engineering requirements.
E. Reporting & Cost Control
- Prepare periodic reports on procurement expenditure, inventory valuation, stock availability, pending purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Track procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Support material requirement planning based on project schedules, historical consumption, and forecasts.
- Maintain documentation required for internal audits, financial reconciliation, and compliance.
- Coordinate with the Finance/Accounts team for invoice verification, payment follow-ups, and vendor account reconciliation.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
