Job Summary The Key Account Manager will be the primary liaison for key clients, combining strong design acumen with business insight to manage product development, sales operations, and customer relationships. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of design and aesthetics, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration to drive growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Job Title: Key Account Manager – Product Management & Sales Location: SEEPZ, SEZ, Mumbai, India (with occasional international and local travel) Key Responsibilities: A. Business Development & Customer Service Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring world-class customer service. Lead product development processes in collaboration with design and production teams. Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of samples and production orders. Develop growth strategies focused on both revenue generation and customer satisfaction. Research and identify new product/process opportunities to enhance customer offerings. Represent the company in customer meetings and international trade shows. Promote products/services by aligning them with client objectives and expectations. Deliver post-sale support and build long-term customer relationships. Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and enhance the company’s value proposition. Collaborate internally to align deliverables with customer expectations. Coach and develop team members from technical and managerial perspectives. Ensure accurate pricing and maintain profitability. Optimize end-to-end processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times. B. Sales Operations Establish and monitor efficient sales operation systems with a focus on continuous improvement. Define competitive and profitable pricing strategies. Manage customer data, order processing, and invoicing with accuracy and timeliness. Oversee account management including payment collections and maintaining clean books. Forecast customer demand and align stock planning for components and finished goods. Drive backward planning and ensure on-time execution of product development and production milestones, implementing corrective actions when needed. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Product Design, or equivalent. Business operations knowledge is a plus. Minimum 8 years of experience in design/product development, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role. Proven track record of delivering high-quality service in Indian and international markets. Strong understanding of customer-centric operations and client relationship management. Working knowledge of SAP is desirable. Proficient in MS Excel; analytical mindset with a comfort in handling data. Strong aesthetic sense and design understanding is essential. Knowledge of foreign languages is an added advantage. Personal Attributes Flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive with a growth-oriented mindset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Compensation: As per industry standards and experience.
