Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our high-performing Solar Sales Team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the solar industry, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. Key Responsibilities - Team Leadership: Mentor and empower a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, fostering a collaborative and high-energy work environment. - Strategic Development: Create and implement innovative sales strategies and processes that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and sustained profitability. Analyse market trends and adapt strategies to maximize opportunities. - Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique energy needs and delivering tailored solar solutions. - Collaboration: Work closely with technical and engineering teams to develop and present customized proposals that highlight our unique selling propositions. - Lead Generation: Utilize diverse channels, including networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events, to generate leads. Oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring effective follow-ups and negotiations. - Performance Tracking: Conduct regular meetings with sales, business development, and marketing teams to monitor performance metrics and provide insights to senior management. - Market Intelligence: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while staying informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. - Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales teams knowledge of solar products, industry trends, and sales techniques, fostering continuous professional growth - Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing client concerns and promoting a customer-centric approach throughout the sales process. - Cross-Department Collaboration : Work with design, project management, and procurement teams to ensure project success and align sales needs across departments. Requirements 3+ years in a Sales Manager or similar role, with a proven track record in solar power or technical sales. Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of the solar industry, including residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Willingness to travel within Goa for client visits and presentations. Proficiency in CRM software, sales metrics, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. ","
