As the face of our dining outlets, you will be responsible for providing a top-notch guest experience, from a warm welcome to the efficient service of food and beverages. Key Responsibilities Guest Service: Greet and seat guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information on daily specials or dietary options. Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders and process them through the Point of Sale (POS) system. Service Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly according to hotel service standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Dining Area Maintenance: Set up tables with clean linens, cutlery, and glassware. Clear and sanitize tables immediately after use to ensure a high turnover rate. Sidework & Preparation: Complete mise en place tasks, including polishing silverware, refilling condiments, and stocking service stations. Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and personal grooming standards. Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints with a positive attitude, escalating to management when necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is a plus. Experience: Previous experience in a steward or waiter role within a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred. Communication: Strong verbal communication skills in [Insert Language, e.g., English]. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavy trays or objects (up to 30–50 lbs). Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of POS systems and food safety regulations.
