Hiring Advertisement Position: Senior Sales & Marketing Executive Industrial Chemicals Company: Sudha Speciality Chemicals Location: Office – Dalhousie, Kolkata Sudha Speciality Chemicals is looking to hire a seasoned Sales & Marketing Professional to drive our business development efforts in the Cement, Textile, and Steel industries. This is a key leadership role that requires deep industry knowledge and proven experience in B2B sales of specialty chemicals. Candidate Profile: Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in one or more of the following sectors: Cement Industry Chemicals Textile Processing Chemicals Steel Industry Chemicals Must have strong client-handling, negotiation, and market development skills. Prior experience in launching or scaling new product lines is a plus. Ability to work independently with a strategic, target-driven approach. Excellent communication and presentation skills. In-depth knowledge about the processes in these industries. Location preference: Candidates currently based in or open to relocating to Kolkata. Job Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Client Acquisition Identify new business opportunities across Cement, Textile, and Steel industries for specialty chemical products. Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term clients. Visit client sites, attend trade shows/exhibitions, and represent the company at industry events. 2. Sales Planning & Execution Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Monitor regional market dynamics and align sales efforts accordingly. Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular performance forecasts. 3. Marketing & Brand Positioning Develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing chemical products. Coordinate with the marketing team to create sales collateral, presentations, and product brochures. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine product positioning. 4. Key Account Management Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key industrial accounts. Provide technical consultations and product demonstrations in coordination with the R&D team. Ensure timely delivery, service, and support to clients, enhancing overall satisfaction and retention. 5. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with the technical/R&D team to customize chemical solutions as per client needs. Collaborate with production and logistics to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Provide valuable market feedback to assist in product development and improvement. 6. Commercial Negotiations & Deal Closure Lead commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies. Draft and finalize proposals, quotations, and agreements in coordination with senior management. Maintain profit margins while remaining competitive in the market. 7. Reporting & Documentation Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, new opportunities, and client feedback. Maintain accurate documentation for each client, including sales history, issues raised, and follow-up schedules. 8. Compliance & Ethical Practices Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and ethical business practices. Maintain confidentiality of client and company data at all times.
