Substation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Execute erection of substation equipment, transformers, brakers, isolators, CT/PT, LA, structures, bus bars and panels.

Supervise earthing , cable laying, termination and illumination works.

Carry out and record pre--commissioning test with OEM and client engineers.

Interpret SLDs, layouts and schematics, rains site queries and resolve drawing confilict.

Maintain measurement books, daily progress reports and material reconciliation

Supervise subcontractor gang for quality productivity and safety

Support inspection and charging of the substation

Preferred candidate profile

BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

5-7 years of hand on substation erection, testing and commissioning with an EPC contractor

Worked on 66kV/132kV/220kV sustations or RE pooling substations.

Familiar with utility specifications and inspection practice(GETCO, RVPN, PGCIL)

Willing to be posted at project sited in Gujarat or Rajasthan
