Stores & Procurement Coordinator Key Responsibilities

• Stores & Inventory Management:

  Maintain proper stock of spares, consumables, tools, PPE, lubricants and other materials.

• Material Planning:

  Monitor critical spares, minimum/maximum stock levels and reorder points to avoid production losses due to stock-outs. SKEM_JSP_Stores_and_Procurement

• Procurement Coordination:

  Prepare and track purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier enquiries, dispatches and deliveries.

• Material Receipt & Inspection:

  Verify quantity, quality, specifications, documents and condition of incoming materials before acceptance. SKEM_JSP_Stores_and_Procurement

• Material Issue & Control:

  Issue materials only against authorised requisitions and maintain complete transaction records.

• Repairable & Warranty Control:

  Track repairable components, vendor repairs, warranty items and their return/reissue status.

• Scrap Management:

  Maintain proper segregation, approval, weighment and documentation of scrap materials.

• Stock Reconciliation:

  Conduct daily transaction checks, cycle counts and monthly physical verification; investigate stock mismatches. SKEM_JSP_Stores_and_Procurement

• Documentation & MIS:

  Maintain PR/PO trackers, GRNs, issue/return records, inventory registers and monthly stores MIS.

• Team Supervision:

  Supervise storekeepers, helpers and assigned material-handling personnel.

• Compliance & Controls:

  Ensure all purchases, issues and movements follow approved procedures, authority levels and audit requirements.

• Reporting & Escalation:

  Immediately report critical stock-outs, procurement delays, inventory mismatches, unauthorised issues and other irregularities to the Site Incharge.
